SMEG Foodservice expands its range, introducing the first oven with 4-tray capacity (600x400mm) to cook not only brioches, but also frozen baguettes.
Guido Canali designs the Smeg Headquarters, which receives the Honourable Mention of the “Gold Medal for Italian Architecture” Award in 2006.
The range is enriched by electronic ovens with greater cooking capacity, introducing ovens with a 6- and 10-tray capacity, for both 600x400mm and GN 1/1 trays, with or without humidification and with counter rotating fan.
From the SMEG design studios, the first professional dishwasher is born. The following years would see the production of SWT glasswashers and double basket FRESH WATER system dishwashers, allowing simultaneous washing of mixed and diversified loads.
